The sound of vinyl records is depends on the quality of the vinyl.
During the early 1970s, as a way to cut cost, many recording companies reduced the thickness and quality of vinyl records. These are the flexible, lightweight vinyl records.
Collectors prefer the 180 g vinyl albums, as the collectors find these have a better sound than normal vinyl records.
Most vinyl records contain up to thirty per cent recycled vinyl, virgin vinyl means that the album has no recycled plastic, and will have no impurities that should be without impurities.
All vinyl records are pressed from a metal disc known as a 'stamper'.
